Growing up in the world of dance, Ms. Lauren knew at a very young age that the arts would always be a part of her life. At the age of three, Ms. Lauren began dancing and continued her training for over 15 years. An award-winning dancer and performer, Ms. Lauren held national and regional titles including Ms. Teen Philadelphia and National Starbound Grand Champion. During her years as a performer, Ms. Lauren grew as a dancer under the direction of various master teachers and choreographers, performing with nationally recognized companies. Her ballet performances include the Nutcracker, Snow White, and Cinderella, to name a few.

In 2001, Ms. Lauren pursued a professional career in Journalism while continuing to educate herself in the world of dance. Before graduating West Chester University with honors, Ms. Lauren was also the proud recipient of the University of the Arts “Promising Artist” Scholarship as well as prestigious dance scholarships to DeSales University and Muhlenberg College. Ms. Lauren is also a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor. She also holds certification in Pediatric and Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED.
After a career in marketing and journalism, Ms. Lauren began her teaching career, finding her true passion and sharing her love of dance with children of all ages. Through her teaching experiences, BDC was born alongside her sister. An award winning teacher and choreographer, Ms. Lauren has helped shape her students into the best they can be.

Ms. Lauren is also a proud mother to 3 children and is an active member in local children’s organizations, including directing St. Joseph/St. Roberts School Theater Arts program in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
