Nicolette Smith grew up training at BDC and is thrilled to be back as faculty! A recent graduate of Syracuse University Musical Theater, Nikki has been privileged to train with incredible faculty, including Broadway vets and Central New York Ballet faculty. Some of her favorite projects include The Wizard of Oz (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Fun Home (Redhouse Arts Center), Cinderella (Syracuse Stage), Pippin (Syracuse University), and Direction/Choreography for American Idiot (Summit Playhouse). Nikki aims to encourage all young dancers to explore their personal artistry in her class — she believes dance is for everyone, and encourages her students to work with an open-mind and find the joy in failing!
